Funny prank gifs are the cream of the crop when it comes to gifs, as far as I am concerned. Everyone loves a good natured prank. Well, everyone who's watching the prank being executed. The person who's the prankee usually isn't a huge fan of pranks. But gifs are the perfect vehicle pranks. You get the cream of the crop and the best part of the prank: the payoff. There's no fat, no wasted buildup, just the best part of the prank, in gif form.

Because you can easily figure out what's happening in each of these gifs. Some of my favorites in this gallery are the guy who unscrewed his boss' office chair. The prank where someone took the glass out of the door so the guy who's walking through it and pushes on the glass nearly falls over himself when he pushes onto air. The invisible mirror where two twins pretended to be a bathroom mirror totally freaked out other people who thought they didn't have a reflection anymore is a classic. My favorite of all time might be the funny prank gif where someone glued a guy's flip flops to the floor. When he tried to put them on (while he was holding a cup of coffee, mind you) he took a pretty hard, but hilarious tumble. Another classic is the elevator prank where someone installed a TV screen in the floor and made it look like the floor was falling away when people were in the elevator. Another great elevator prank was where a coffin was in the elevator and a body fell out of it when a girl was alone in the elevator.
